Who has the biggest p...anflute?

At the annual Carnival in Jujuy, Argentina, you will see a lot of panflute groups going through the streets. While some panflutes are quite modest, others seem to be there to impress by size! It's a spectacle!

Birds can startle and fly away, well before you are close enough to take a photo. Not this guy (or girl)! He looked right in the eye as I approached - without any sudden moves. I framed the shot & took a few photos. Then he decided it was time to leave! Luckily, this nice shot was included. 🐦

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this is a Chimango Caracara. Or, as Google Translate kindly translates into English; a Chimango Face Face 😂

When the sun is low at the end of the day, a vicuñas fur lights up! These camelids are in related to the alpaca and llama, but very shy. Taking pictures is a bit of a challenge as they quickly run away. With a 100-400mm, I was lucky capturing these with the lens fully extended at 400mm 😁
