It is good to see the University of Goroka led by the SRC to make a bold stand to petition the current Prime Minister Hon James Mar**e and Police Commissioner.

Way to go 🫡🫡

The University of Goroka president Joshua McDonald Sua and the student body of UOG asked the Police commissioner to resign without fear or favor.

Yesterday, on 31st March 2025, the University of Goroka SRC team, students, and staff were hosting their second open forum at the university campus.
However, during the forum, the University president, where petitioning the Honorable Prime Minister James Mar**e to be on the UOG campus on Monday 7th of April to have an open dialog with the students body of the University.

He also asked the Police commissioner to resign. He said that the police commissioner is not performing his duty as a commissioner, so he must resign.
He said the crime rate in the country is increasing every day, killing is becoming normal, stealing is becoming normal, r**e is becoming normal, fighting is every were in the country and commissioner is not performing his duties and he also have some other reason for asking the police commissioner to resign he said, I'll be addressing the commissioner and the Prime Minister on the groun on Monday during the open dialog at the university campus.
