As we reflect on this repentance day, how do we repent politically apart from the spiritual repentance? There is a man known as SHP, who has five sons called Nipa Kutubu, Mendi Munihu, Imbongu, Ialibu Pangia and Kagua Erave. The man has always looked upon Nipa Kutubu as the eldest son for 3 decades now because he alwayswanted to lead his other brothers. The boy had always wanted to lead and had never at one time let his leadership slip off to his other four brothers. He had sons who were empowered to lead and he watched from the back. Out of his 3 sons who have led, 2 have died already and one continues to carry on the leading role. Their names are, Dick Mone, Hami Yawari, and now William Powi (current leader) In the period of this 3 decades, what have we achieved so far? In relation to the repentance day itself, should we repent and kindly ask the elder brother to watch from the back and let one of the other brothers lead or should he be allowed to continue?
