🏆 LNHS EMERGES OVERALL CHAMPION; TOPS FINAL MEDAL TALLY OF ASSAA MUNICIPAL MEET 2026

ABULUG, Cagayan (July 11, 2026) — Libertad National High School (LNHS) claimed the overall championship of the Abulug Secondary Schools Athletic Association (ASSAA) Municipal Meet 2026 after finishing with 39 medals, including 17 gold, 13 silver, and 9 bronze medals, according to the final official medal tally.

Abulug School of Fisheries (ASOF) finished as the first runner-up with 30 medals (14 gold, 8 silver, and 8 bronze), while Abulug National Rural and Vocational High School (ANRVHS) secured third place with 21 medals, composed of 8 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

Also finishing with 21 total medals, Divine Word High School of Dalao (DWHS-D) placed fourth after earning 4 gold, 10 silver, and 7 bronze medals, with the rankings determined by the number of gold medals won.

Rounding out the standings were Lyceum of Abulug (LOA) in fifth place with 10 medals and FL Vargas College (FLVC) in sixth place with 2 medals.

The conclusion of the municipal meet marked the successful culmination of this year's sporting event, bringing together student-athletes from secondary schools across the Municipality of Abulug to compete in various disciplines while promoting excellence, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
