ABULUG, CAGAYAN — September 5–6, 2026 — Libertad National High School proudly opened its doors as the host of the Congressional District II Schools Press Conference, welcoming student-journalists, teacher-coaches, and delegates from different schools across the district.
For two meaningful days, the campus became more than just a venue—it became a melting pot of stories, ideas, talents, and friendships, where young journalists gathered to sharpen their skills and let their voices be heard.
As the delegates arrived, they were welcomed not only with smiles but with the distinct warmth and generosity of Abulug. Our hospitality flowed like the Abulug River—steady, welcoming, and reaching everyone who came our way. ❤️
True to the spirit of “Macayaya nga Abulug,” Libertad National High School embraced every delegate as a friend and every visitor as a member of the community. From the simple gestures of welcome to the shared moments throughout the conference, the event reflected the Abulugnon spirit—warm at heart, generous in spirit, and proud to welcome everyone home.
Beyond the competition, the conference became a celebration of journalism and the young minds behind every story. Like seeds carried by the wind, these young journalists will take with them not only lessons and experiences, but also memories of a community that welcomed them with open arms.
