Wedding myth: You won’t enjoy your wedding with a guest list of less than a hundred.

Well, Gem and Liz busted this myth, and proved that their carefully-selected guest list actually made their celebration more sincere and personal. They were able to focus on themselves, their families, a few close friends, and on everything that truly mattered.

They wanted to honor their parents’ wish to get married in a church, so they said their I Dos for the second time at Liz’ dream church. As her longtime, I couldn’t be happier that she finally found the man who will love her faithfully and unconditionally. ❤️

When I think of these two, here's what's on my mind...

Everything you yearn for and chase in this world will pass away. I’m sure you’ve heard people say nothing is permanent. But if loving someone so deeply will make every passing year memorable, even pain and loss bearable, and the present time worth living, I’d say fall in love again and again.

Fall in love with the same person not only once or twice. Fall in love with your soul mate every waking moment. Always find a way to celebrate what you have, even in times of uncertainty and difficulties.

Don't figure out how to make your marriage perfect. Instead, pray that humility, peace, and joy will reign in your hearts, and keep your love pure.

In the tapestry of life, miracles can be as simple as a whispered prayer for God to hold back the rain long enough to finish my maternity shoot.

It was already drizzling when I reached the location. Within minutes, the rain grew steady, drumming softly against the roof of my car. I kept praying for my little miracle.

The spatter ceased, and the sky cleared. Eliza arrived soon after, beaming; her radiance was apparent. She looked beautiful, glowing even.

The hour passed in a blur, with hundreds of photos capturing her moments. As we neared the end of the session, a thought lingered in my mind: I hoped that when she looked at the photos, she would remember the laughter and joy of that day. 🤎🌼

Here’s a testimony that some endings were meant to pave the way for that one true love.

Frank and Vence. Both came from a chapter that didn’t end in a happily ever after. They once stood at the edge of hope, wondering if real, lasting love would ever find them again.

Then came each other.
The setback didn’t stop them from hoping and praying for a miracle.

Nine years. That’s how long it took for these two amazing people to embrace their destiny of being each other’s lifetime source of love and peace. It wasn’t rushed, but it was real, and it was theirs.

This is not their first, but by far their favorite. And this time, it’s forever.

It takes three for marriage to take place: a man and a woman and God in between.

It was a day wrapped in glory and bliss, the kind that comes only when love is rooted in God’s grace. As Jeremy stood at the altar, eyes steady and heart full, he joyfully awaited for the woman he had prayed for. Aliah walked down the aisle, radiant not just in beauty, but in faith and quiet strength.

The two didn’t just promise to love each other. They vowed to walk alongside each other in pursuit of a greater purpose and calling. They vowed to pursue Christ and build a home where He is the center.

When God writes the story, it always ends up joyfully to bring Him glory.

While it takes two to love, it takes Jesus to make it last. Forever started here✨

It’s not love if it’s easy.

It entails sacrifice, putting your better half’s needs before yours, perhaps giving more than receiving. If love is all rainbows and butterflies, people will realize it’s not worth anything at all.

That’s what Jonel and Rheyma found in their courtship and journey before their 'I dos'. They saw that their love was worth pursuing despite the difficulties and perhaps setbacks along the way. After all, the hardships and sacrifices we make in love humble us, that we may never lose sight of our whys.

If you didn’t know Edmar and Polly, you might have thought they were shy and timid. But just a few minutes into the shoot gave me a glimpse of who they truly are. These souls are full of love and fire in their hearts. They are each other’s ray of sunshine, bundle of joy, and life of the party.

I don’t need to have known them for years to be certain of God’s goodness in their lives. His promises are unfolding one at a time as they abide in Him.

Nathan and Shem’s love story is evidence that when God intervenes and allows two people’s paths to cross, it creates a one-in-a-million chance of a lifetime.

Their love for music has brought them even closer as it is their worship and expression of their love for God. They share a beautiful devotion to Jesus that will only get sweeter as their love for one another gets tested and sanctified.

On the day of Jeremy and Aliah’s shoot, the sky was gray with no hints of warmth on the horizon. The golden hour was the ideal time to capture their intimate moments, but that didn’t happen. And they felt weary about their lack of experience posing in front of the camera. But hand in hand, they took their time and allowed themselves to bask in each other’s presence.

Jeremy and Aliah’s love story is a beautiful reflection of God’s wonderful grace. It’s a reminder that when He writes the story, it’s always worth the wait.
