Let the water do the talking. 🌊🧜🏻‍♀️

Real time, salt water, and a little color grading to bring the mood out. Although i'm still getting used to the new routine 😭

A little look back at my China journey. 🧜🏻‍♀️🇵🇭

It was challenging, exhausting, exciting, and definitely one for the books. So grateful for the lessons, the memories, and most of all, the people who made the journey extra special. ❤️

Thank you Alan Lam, THE FILIPINO MERMAN 🧜‍♂️, Barny Crisostomo , and my co-team Gian! And of course, my husband and the PH mermaid community for all the love and support. 🥹🇵🇭

Still inspired, still learning, and definitely not done yet. 🧜🏻‍♀️💙

A little look at my Persephone makeup and the theme I brought to the tank. 🌸🍎✨

Technicalities aside, this was honestly my best experience in the competition tank. I was given enough time to relax before my turn, and the difference in how I felt underwater was sooo much better. 😭😂

Also, one of my biggest lessons from this experience came even before my turn. Another concept suddenly popped into my head while I was there—and now I can’t stop thinking about it. 😂

Apparently, even in the middle of competition stress, my brain was already planning the next performance. 🧜🏻‍♀️

Persephone was just the beginning. 🍎🌸

Look what just popped up on the official Hainan Ocean Paradise page! 🧜‍♂️💙

Not us Mark Tarroza Dizon and Gian Jurado getting featured on their feed while living my best mermaid life in that unreal tank. Still so hyped over this event and all the incredible runs.
Witnessing deep blue, way beyond the competition floor!

I may not have been able to snag a medal this time, but I came home with 5th place in Solo Skills and 6th place in Mermaid Dance. 🇵🇭🧜🏻‍♀️

This competition gave me a lot to think about, learn from, and work on moving forward. And despite everything, it was wonderful to witness the winners fly their flags proudly and celebrate what they had worked so hard for.

Thank you to When In Manila for featuring mine and Gian's journey. Still processing the whole experience, but grateful to have been part of it.

Anyway, here’s a little photo dump from my first international competition. Some pretty moments, some questionable facial expressions, and a lot of memories in between.
