I recently used the SIGMA 500mm 5.6 DG DN OS Sports lens at the Philippine Superbike Championship 2024 at Clark International Speedway, and it delivered an impressive performance. The lens was exceptionally sharp, capturing every detail with clarity. Its ease of use stood out, with intuitive controls and a smooth focus ring that made adjustments straightforward.
Despite being a 500mm lens, it was compact and lightweight, making it convenient to carry around the track and reducing fatigue during long shooting sessions. The fast and accurate autofocus was crucial in capturing high-speed action, ensuring I didn’t miss any critical moments.
Additionally, the build quality is robust and professional, capable of handling the rigors of a fast-paced environment. The weather-sealed design added confidence in unpredictable conditions.
