Baragatan Sa Palawan!
The word Baragatan comes from the Cuyunon term bagat, which means "to meet" or "convergence". It perfectly describes the festival as a time when locals from all corners of the island gather to celebrate their shared history, indigenous heritage, and local tourism. Baragatan Festival is Palawan's premier provincial festival and founding anniversary celebration. Held annually in Puerto Princesa City, the event commemorates the establishment of Palawan's civil government. The festival is known for its massive cultural parades, trade fairs, and vibrant celebrations that unite all 23 municipalities of the province.
