“Ang Akong Pabalon” is a heartfelt journey of homecoming, memory, and the invisible gifts that shape who we are. As I return to Baungon, Bukidnon, I rediscover the land that first nurtured me—the soil as my first pabaon. Each encounter with family, a teacher, and church becomes a symbolic pabalon of love, knowledge, and faith. Through the river, the farmlands, and the laughter of children, I see how history, culture, and dreams flow through generations. In giving and receiving these pabalon, I learn that Baungon is more than a place—it is a living symbol of heritage, guidance, and hope carried in the heart. Baungon is more than a place—it is a gift to the world, and I am proud to bring its story with me.
