Carlogaid Photography Light. Elegant. Timeless. Do I typically lean towards bright light photography or do I just occasionally experiment on moody tones?

I guess I can say that I don’t really have a particular photography style. It isn’t always bright and airy, nor is it always dark and sultry. I’d like people to experience how I felt when I capture a particular moment; the excitement, the frustration, the inspirations, the flush and feel of it all; and most especially the stories shared in between these moments --- encapsulated in a photograph. I’d like to be as authentic as I can in my craft.

Christine, a vision.

We spent three separate days photographing her prenup. The day before the wedding, we captured her bridal portraits in full gown and makeup. And then came the wedding day itself.

Five days of photographs in total.

You’d think that after all that, we would have exhausted every possible image to create. But somehow, every time Christine stepped in front of our cameras, there was always something new to discover.

A different mood. A different story. A different side of her.

And honestly, we feel like we could have spent five more days creating together and still found something we hadn’t seen before.

Over three days, Christine and Jigz took us from lakeside views and rolling ranch landscapes to breathtaking overlooks and sunsets by the sea. Every place felt beautiful in its own way, but what made the experience memorable was how naturally they fit into each setting.

Though the session stretched across three days, it never felt long at all. They had a way of making every place feel familiar and every moment feel easy. Easygoing, playful, and completely themselves, they carried a lightness that made the days unfold effortlessly.

Sharing a glimpse of their story today. Tomorrow, we finally get to celebrate them. 🤍

For their pre wedding session, Dave and Sheena brought us to places familiar to them, from the beauty of Lake Maragang to the shores of Pandilusan Island in Zamboanga. What began as a day of taking photos quickly became an adventure filled with unexpected turns, changing weather, and stories we'll probably be telling for years.

What stood out most was how naturally they moved through it all together. From enjoying the rain by the lake to finding themselves stranded on an island for a little longer than planned, there was a sense of ease that never left them. The kind that comes from knowing you're with the right person, someone who can make even the unexpected feel calm.

These photographs will always remind us of that day and everything that came with it. Tomorrow, on a beautiful Monday, we finally get to celebrate them. 🤍

Last month, Jabar and Cristine brought us to Baguio City, our first time visiting a place that clearly means so much to them. What felt like a photoshoot often felt more like spending the day together, wandering through familiar streets and simply enjoying the moments in between.

They were such a joy to photograph. Playful, easygoing, and completely themselves. The weather was beautiful, but even more beautiful was the way they moved through it all together.

Always grateful for couples who bring us into the places that hold meaning in their story.🤍

Some love stories are shaped by time, distance, and the choice to keep showing up for one another through it all.

A month ago, Coco and Sheera were married beneath the warmest sunlight, in a charming rock chapel overlooking the city, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported them throughout their journey.

Their story has seen seasons of long distance, but their love remained steadfast. The kind of love that grows stronger with patience, trust, and the certainty of knowing you have found your person.

This wedding was especially dear to us. We first met Sheera through a wedding we had the privilege of documenting a year ago. Standing beside her were familiar faces, some of whom we have had the honor of photographing on their own wedding days.

One of the greatest gifts of this work is witnessing these connections over time, to see friendships carry through different chapters, and to be welcomed back into moments that matter most. To be trusted, time and time again, is something we never take for granted.

Coco and Sheera, thank you for allowing us to tell a part of your story.

Alfaisal and Qailah’s wedding day was grand, elegant, and deeply rooted in family and tradition. From the bejeweled silks and richly colored gowns to the cascading white florals that softened every space, each detail came together with a sense of opulence that felt intentional and beautifully considered.

Beyond the beauty of the celebration, what felt most meaningful was the presence of the people who filled the day with warmth and celebration. It was clear how deeply loved they are, not only in the way everyone gathered for them, but in the care and importance placed into every part of the occasion. Like many Muslim weddings we have the privilege of documenting, the day was centered not only on two people, but on the coming together of families, tradition, and shared joy.

It also felt meaningful to once again see familiar faces we’ve had the honor of documenting before. This time, it was especially memorable to witness the groom’s family take part in bringing the celebration together, a reflection of how much this day meant to everyone surrounding them.

A beautiful celebration, full of elegance, intention, and love in its many forms. 🤍

Maybe the world was right when they said the unexpected moments become the most beautiful memories.

But for Jigz & Christine, we also learned that there’s something magical about planning a dream with intention. From bringing a small boat to lake apo, to chasing the soft golden light, every detail was thoughtfully made to create something that felt almost unreal.

Because sometimes, extraordinary moments do not simply happen by chance. Sometimes, they are created with vision, love, and a little bit of faith.
