Carlogaid Photography Light. Elegant. Timeless. Do I typically lean towards bright light photography or do I just occasionally experiment on moody tones?

I guess I can say that I don’t really have a particular photography style. It isn’t always bright and airy, nor is it always dark and sultry. I’d like people to experience how I felt when I capture a particular moment; the excitement, the frustration, the inspirations, the flush and feel of it all; and most especially the stories shared in between these moments --- encapsulated in a photograph. I’d like to be as authentic as I can in my craft.

James and Krisza’s wedding day at Duka Bay felt warm, effortless, and beautifully dreamlike from beginning to end. With the ocean stretching behind them, golden sunlight pouring through the afternoon, and white calla lilies woven into every space, the entire celebration carried a softness that felt elegant and full of heart.

It was our first time documenting a wedding in Medina, and there was something special about witnessing a day unfold in a place that felt both serene and full of life. The sea breeze, the gentle green tones, and the way the light settled over everything made each moment feel naturally beautiful, as if the day had come together exactly as it was meant to.

As the sun began to set, the atmosphere turned even more unforgettable. The kind of sunset that lingers a little longer, matching so effortlessly the love James and Krisza shared throughout the day. Everything felt sincere, intentional, and easy in the best way.

Grateful to have been part of it.

AJ and Erah first brought us to Munting Gubat in Rizal for their pre wedding, and now to Iligan City to witness and document another meaningful chapter of their story. There is always something special about being invited into places that hold meaning for our couples, places tied to memory, family, and the lives they’ve built long before the wedding day itself.

Though now based in Manila, they chose to return to Iligan City to seal their marriage surrounded by the people closest to them and within the culture that has shaped them through the years. Their celebration felt elegant, intentional, and full of heart, centered not only on two people coming together, but on the joining of families, tradition, and shared history.

We’re grateful to have witnessed a day that felt so grounded in meaning, and to be part of a story that brought everyone back to where it all began.

Hizam and Ponggay’s wedding was grand in presence, yet deeply rooted in meaning. Dressed in a palette of whites and soft creams, the celebration carried a refined elegance, with subtle hints of pink woven through the entourage, the bridal bouquet, and the finer details that completed the day. Every element felt intentional, from the florals to the jewelry, each one reflecting a tradition known for its richness and care.

At its heart, it was a union of two families and of two people who chose each other with certainty. In a way that felt steady and assured, their connection was evident in how the day unfolded, surrounded by those who matter most.

It also felt familiar for us. Ponggay being the best friend of one of our brides from last February meant we were once again among faces we’ve come to know. There is something special about returning, about witnessing different chapters within the same circle, and being trusted to document them with the same care each time. 🤍

Azim and Shiham’s wedding day was filled with warmth, color, and a beautiful sense of togetherness. Soft pastel tones, bright florals, and a lightness in every detail gave the celebration a refined softness that felt true to them. More than anything, it was a day centered on family, tradition, and the coming together of two lives with love and intention.

It also felt especially meaningful for us to be there. We first met Shiham when we documented her sister’s wedding last year, so to be welcomed back again by their family was something we deeply appreciated. There is always an honor in returning to familiar faces and being trusted once more to preserve moments that matter most.

Jim and Chrystal’s wedding day was as beautiful as the sunlight that filled it, warm, golden, and effortless from beginning to end. Chrystal carried a natural radiance, and together, they moved through the day with a kind of certainty that didn’t need to be explained. A love that may feel new, yet already so sure of itself.

Surrounded by peach blooms, sea breeze, and soft golden light, the day unfolded with so much heart. There were tears, lingering moments, and pauses that were held just a little longer. Nothing felt rushed, yet everything was fully felt.

To witness them was to understand, in the simplest way, that they had found their way to each other. We’re grateful to have been part of a day that felt so meaningful and true to them.🤍

RJ and Audrey’s wedding day felt full of life and color, in a way that still felt entirely their own. Surrounded by those closest to them, everything carried a sense of ease, as if nothing needed to be more than what it already was.

They move together in a way that feels natural, the kind of understanding that doesn’t need to be spoken. It made the day feel light and enjoyable, especially knowing how intentional Audrey was about simply being present. Not performing for the moment, but truly living it. And in that, everything fell into place, exactly as it should.

Their story has never been about grand gestures, but something steadier. A kind of calm that has grown over time. Like finding yourself exactly where you are meant to be, at the right time, in the right place, and in a season that feels certain.

There was also something quietly meaningful in the way time has shaped their journey. RJ had spent years surrounded by the love of his seven dogs, each one part of his life in its own way. And now, as he begins this new chapter with Audrey, it feels like that same kind of love has simply taken on a new form. Not replaced, but continued. Steady, familiar, and just as full.

Earl and Lindsay’s wedding day unfolded with a sense of ease, starting slow and relaxed, allowing each moment to settle as it came. There was an awareness throughout the day that it would pass quickly, and more than anything, it mattered that they were able to be present for it. To take it in, to hold on to the in-between moments, and to simply feel the day as it was.

Everything came together naturally. The light, the movement, the way they were with each other. It’s in these kinds of moments where nothing feels forced that everything aligns, and where the images become what they are meant to be.

Set against an all-white palette with touches of green, the day carried an elegance that felt clean and considered. Nothing overwhelming, just a setting that allowed everything else to stand out in its own way.

What made it all the more meaningful is the reality that in the days to come, they would once again find themselves apart, separated by distance and the life that calls them elsewhere. And yet, in the midst of that, there was something steady in the way they held each other. A reminder that home is not always a place, but a person you return to, no matter where life takes you.

Ryan and Ann’s wedding morning felt intimate and deeply sincere, held on a bright Saturday that made everything feel a little more alive. It moved with ease—quick in pace, yet full of meaning in every moment. Rooted in Filipino tradition, each detail felt familiar, joyful, and true to who they are.

There was a warmth to the way the day unfolded, not just in the details, but in the people who surrounded them. You could feel it in the way everyone gathered, in the laughter that came naturally, and in the quiet pride of honoring traditions that have long brought people together. It was the kind of celebration that felt close to home, where everything simply made sense.
