What happens when passion, culture, and talent collide? A groundbreaking moment for Samar! The SALIDA SAMAR Short Film Festival 2024, the province’s first-ever cinematic celebration, lit up the iconic CACO Theater in Calbayog City, redefining how stories are told.

With Vice Mayor Rex Daguman leading the charge, in collaboration with TINGOG Party-list, the Provincial Government of Samar, and the Office of the Vice Mayor, this festival set the stage for Samarnon filmmakers to shine.

✨ Top Scene-Stealers:
🥇 Hingyap – Pocketed ₱50,000 + ₱25,000 for their chosen beneficiary
🥈 Sino Si Santa – Earned ₱30,000 + ₱15,000 for their chosen beneficiary
🥉 Kun Waray na Lamrag an Bituon – Took home ₱20,000 + ₱10,000 for their chosen beneficiary
