Paul and Al are a legendary morning radio duo who hosted the longest-running rock radio show in Rhode Island history on 94HJY (WHJY-FM). Comprising Paul Fuller and Al Matthews, the pair began broadcasting on July 15, 1990, after being recruited from Alabama.

Their 36-year run featured a mix of off-color humor, impersonations, societal observations, and regular segments assisted by a robust supporting cast, including Jim Shorts, Kevin "Stuntboy", and Jenn Dower.

They were officially brought on-air on July 15, 1990, to replace departing DJs Carolyn Fox and Rudy Cheeks.

They hold the second-longest tenure for a morning show on the same station in Rhode Island radio history, trailing only the legendary Salty Brine

After 36 years, two Rhode Island radio broadcasting legends will soon hang up their microphones and headsets.
