Sharing another couple portraits i did with Aakash and Shreya from last year. This was for a secret proposal that turned to an engagement shoot by the beach. Love how light and easy love is for these two. ✨
Sharing this couple portrait i took of Matt and Bea from a few weeks ago at Nustar as we celebrate Valentines Day. Always so happy to witness their love grow and bloom more. 🌹✨
sharing a few street photography portraits i did for Yves Camingue's collection. we did this shoot on a saturday morning, we got lucky these streets were quite empty then. this was already my second time taking portrait photographs along these streets so i was already quite familiar with the place, and it also helped that we have checked the corners we wanted to shoot at for the layouts. Couldn't have done it without the team's effort, this was fun to do. 😊✨

Sharing a few backstage photographs from last year's ' Waves and Weaves fashion show at Marco Polo last year. I really enjoyed shooting the backstage portraits more cause i was able to art direct how i wanted them to pose, and also got more control of the lighting, compared to when i photographed them walking during the fashion show event which i still enjoyed. The latter was more technical and challenging though compared to the more relaxed vibe backstage.

Sharing with you some favorites from this year's predebut studio shoot for Lalaine's 18th birthday. Our team prepared for three layouts, and this was the first one: we were going for a warm, timeless vibe for this set.☁️🤍

Photography was not something I practiced up until college back in 2010. I was only using a phone camera then, until my sister gave me a secondhand camera a year later, which I am forever very grateful to her, for a new passion was born since then.
Between 2010 to 2012 I took a lot of photographs, a rare few would pass my standards now, some I cringe at looking back, thinking why I took that, the rest was a lesson waiting to happen.
My first conceptual photograph was this cover photo, with the use of two balloons as props, a chair as tripod, a concept in mind and self timer. (Pardon my old self’s editing skills then.)
I thought for sure I would be drawing the rest of my life before photography. But eventually I grew frustrated by the things I draw, kept comparing myself to people I look up to, so I took a pause on drawing illustrations from 2012 up to now, not unless school required me to, or on rare moments I needed to draw something.
Late 2018, I am happy to be back creating new content for this page again. A year’s rest made me think through what I want to shoot, what concepts I want to create in the future, and the people I would want to work with.
Pursuing your passion for the arts will never be smooth sailing, there are always challenges you need to overcome. But if you love what you do, no matter the compromise,
it will be all worth it in the end seeing the end result.
