Davao del Norte Hospital - Kapalong Zone Now Powered by Davao Light

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. completed the energization of initial areas in the Municipality of Kapalong, with the Davao del Norte Hospital - Kapalong Zone now connected through the new 12-kilometer distribution line from Brgy. Pag-asa to the Municipal Hall.

Stable electricity is essential in healthcare settings, allowing medical equipment to run reliably, preserving critical supplies, and enabling uninterrupted patient care. The connection strengthens the hospital’s capacity to serve the community while paving the way for additional households and establishments to be accommodated.

This expansion forms part of the Company’s entry into its newly covered franchise areas under Republic Act No. 12144 and is authorized under the provisional Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission.

Nationwide Classroom Building, Supportado sa Davao de Oro

DAVAO DE ORO — Buong suporta ang ipakita sa lalawigan sa Davao de Oro sa Nationwide Classroom Building Program sa pagpirma ni Governor Raul Mabanglo sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) kauban ang Department of Education (DepEd), niining Pebrero 11 sa Malacañang Palace.

Ang seremonyas gipangulohan mismo ni President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ug ni DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara. Tumong sa maong programa nga mas paspas ug episyente ang pagtukod, pag-ayo, ug rehabilitasyon sa mga classroom pinaagi sa panguna nga papel sa mga local government unit (LGU), ilabina sa mga probinsyang nagkinahanglan og dugang pasilidad sa edukasyon.

Mitambong usab si First District Congresswoman Maricar Zamora Mabanglo, nga nagsilbing budget sponsor sa DepEd isip Vice Chairperson sa Committee on Appropriations sa Kongreso.

Ang inisyatibo gilauman nga makatubag sa classroom backlog sa mga pampublikong eskwelahan sa tibuok nasud, lakip na sa Davao de Oro.

“𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜 𝗣𝗢 𝗞𝗔𝗠𝗜 𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗟 𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗢.”

Sa layuning maghatid ng ligtas, disente, at sariling tahanan sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino, umabot na sa higit 423,430 housing units ang naipagawa o napondohan ng pamahalaan mula Hulyo 2022 - Enero 2026, ayon kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ngayong Lunes, Feb. 16.

Sa tulong ng makabagong teknolohiya ng Megawide Pre-Cast Plant sa Taytay, Rizal, inaasahang mas mapapabilis ang produksyon ng housing units sa ilalim ng Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program ng Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).

“Patuloy na magtutulungan ang pamahalaan at pribadong sektor upang pabilisin ang produksyon, ayusin ang proseso, at palawakin ang saklaw ng ating mga programa, lalo na ang Expanded 4PH Program,” pahayag ni PBBM.

Davao City – Sa unang sesyon sa 21st City Council sa Davao City niadtong Hulyo 1, 2025, gitudlo isip Acting Vice Mayor si First District Councilor Rigo Duterte, anak ni Congressman Paolo “Pulong” Duterte. Si Councilor Rigo milingkod dayon isip presiding officer sa maong sesyon.

Samtang, si Councilor Ragde Ibuyan nagpahayag sa iyang suporta sa kasamtangang administrasyon, ug mapasalamaton sa katawhang misalig ug mipili kaniya sa eleksyon.
