According to the latest forecasts from PAGASA, Davao City is expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms, influenced by the Easterlies. Residents should be prepared for possible moderate to heavy rains, which may trigger flash floods and landslides in vulnerable areas.

Thunderstorm Watch
PAGASA-Mindanao Regional Services Division has issued a Thunderstorm Watch indicating that thunderstorms are more likely to develop over Davao City within the next 12 hours. Residents are advised to remain alert for sudden heavy downpours, lightning, and strong winds.

As we celebrate the 128th Independence Day, let us all honor the strong heroes who fought for our freedom. As we speak of freedom and independence, what are the sacrifices you've done to let go for your freedom?

🇵🇭 Now more than ever, we value our independence.

As we look back on this video, we are reminded that time moves forward. Some of the teachers featured here have already departed, some have sought greener pastures abroad, while others have chosen to stay and continue their commitment to educating the youth despite the challenges.

Their journeys reflect the hopes and sacrifices of many Filipinos who strive for a better future for themselves and their families.

As we celebrate our nation’s independence, may we also continue to aspire for freedom from corruption, poverty, and tyranny...burdens that hold our people back from reaching their full potential. May we build a nation where opportunities abound, where integrity prevails, and where every Filipino can truly enjoy the freedom and dignity they deserve.
