EARTHQUAKE SAFETY FIRST | CALINAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Students, teachers, faculty, and staff of Calinan National High School immediately evacuated to the designated safe areas following the recent earthquake. The school community remained calm and orderly while observing the established earthquake evacuation protocols.

As a precautionary measure, students are currently being sent home to ensure their safety.

We remind everyone to stay alert, follow official advisories, and always prioritize safety during and after seismic events. Stay safe, CNHSians!

Apduhan Named Player of the Game as Calinan NHS Cavalliers Secure First Win in PANABO CO-OP YGLC Basketball League Season 5

Angelo Apduhan earned Player of the Game as the Calinan NHS Cavalliers picked up their first win in the PANABO CO-OP YGLC Basketball League Season 5, with Coach Ruel dela Cruz pointing to the teamโ€™s improved ball movement, decision-making, and solid defense as key to the victory while urging the players to sharpen their set plays and continue playing as a team.

Campus Journalists from the English Publication of CNHS, The Gong are among the attendees as Journalism Academy kicks off today, Aug 8, 2026 at Crossing Bayabas NHS Covered court, Radio Broadcasting ( Elementary and Secondary) with Richard Apresto, a renowned Radio and TV Broadcasting speaker and evaluator.

The team is composed of Joiemar Iguianon, News Anchor; Liannie Eloisa Atillo, Georgina Sarucam, Joveen Yzhabelle Doquilla, Aleyah Elyn Jimenez, news reporters; Myrrie Lae Estolonio and John Miguel Vega Technical Directors and Noryn Compra, Infomercial Specialist with School Paper Adviser Franklin D. Cuadrillero.

Thousands of campus journalists and School papers attend the annual event as everyone prepares to compete in the Division, Regional and National Schools Press Conference.

Last Year, CNHS The Gong made it to the NSPC with Joe Carl Gonzaga who competed in Editorial Cartooning Secondary-English.
