“Some stories only reveal themselves when you go further than planned.”

Our creative lead, Kirby, spent a month traversing Palawan from Manila to Coron, Linapacan, El Nido, Puerto Princesa, and all the way down to Balabac, working alongside a group of travelers to document their journey. We intentionally skipped most of the usual tourist sites and focused on exploring lesser-known areas and hidden gems along the way.

A lot of sea travel, constant movement, and adapting on the go. Exactly the kind of environment where real stories unfold.

We also explored parts of the west coast, and it was surprising how raw and untouched it still feels. Away from the usual routes, it offered a different side of Palawan, quieter and less curated.

Palawan has this balance where it can feel touristy at times, but still opens up into bigger spaces that feel untouched, especially when you choose to go further and stay longer.

Grateful for the trust to be part of this experience and help turn it into something they can look back on.

After 12 hours of travel by air, land, and sea, our team has arrived in this part of Palawan. We will be based here for the next two weeks, documenting the island behind us in the photo, from its coastline up to its peaks, as well as the resident's way of life.

Connection is limited, and we will try to respond to any queries as soon as possible.

2025 was intentional. Fewer projects, bigger productions, higher standards.

From the Davao Region, across half of Mindanao, and all the way to Palawan, this year took us further than ever. We filmed marathons, documented communities, and worked on stories that required scale, trust, and precision.

Our sincere thanks to our clients who trusted us with bigger visions and long term goals. Your confidence made this strategic year possible.

Grateful as well to our partners and creative team, and above all, to the Lord for guidance and protection throughout every journey.

Here is to deeper focus and even stronger work in 2026.

High in the mountains of Sarangani, we documented the story of a Blaan farming community whose way of life has steadily transformed.

Before, farming followed tradition alone, from planting only during a full moon to limited techniques suited for flat land. Through the DTI RAPID Growth Project, the community was trained on proper banana farming in sloped and highland areas. Knowledge changed practices. Practices changed outcomes.

Today, they have a direct buyer offering competitive prices. Livelihoods improved. Homes evolved from simple nipa huts to sturdier houses with concrete walls. Progress here did not erase culture. It strengthened it by giving the community choices, stability, and dignity.

From a small farmers organization to a thriving cooperative.

This video shoot in Lebak, Sultan Kudarat showed how steady support from the DTI 12's RAPID Growth Project helped coconut farmers strengthen not just their livelihood but their future.

With training and access to better systems, the cooperative now produces white copra, a higher value product compared to traditional copra. The impact goes beyond income. Parents have sent their children to school. Women and youth now play active roles in leadership and operations. Growth here is shared, inclusive, and rooted in community.

This is what progress looks like when farmers are given the right support.

Stories Of Empowerment Through Coconut.

Through DTI Sultan Kudarat and the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan or CFIDP, we met inspiring local entrepreneurs who are redefining what the coconut industry can be.

For so long, many farmers relied only on selling raw coconuts. But with the help of CFIDP, they are learning to innovate; creating food products, crafts, and lamps that bring more value to their hard work.

We love documenting stories like these, stories of people turning tradition into opportunity and showing what empowerment truly looks like in our local communities.

These are not just coconut products. They are stories of growth, collaboration, and Filipino pride.

Stories of resilience from Region 12

Through the DTI 12 RAPID Growth Project, we met two inspiring coffee cooperatives turning challenges into opportunities.

In the uplands, an indigenous community once at the mercy of traders selling their coffee at very low prices came together to form their own organization. With proper training and support, they learned to grow quality coffee and negotiate fair prices. Today, they are no longer exploited and are slowly building sustainable livelihoods.

Another story comes from a peace-and-order–led NGO that created a social enterprise to strengthen the local coffee industry. By directly marketing the coffee of indigenous farmers, they ensure fair prices and bring hope for a better future in their community.

These are more than coffee stories. They are stories of resilience, collaboration, and the power of support!
