Wildlife Encounter | Birds in Guihing Aplaya
Swamphen species

Swamphen species play a crucial roles in wetland ecosystems by regulating vegetation, dispersing seeds, supporting food webs, and serving as indicators of ecosystem health. Their activities help maintain the balance and biodiversity of marshes, swamps, and lagoons.

But this swamphen some say this is hybrid so there is a possibility that this bird is competing with our local bird.
