What a Wonderpus 😲🐙
Encounter with this larval wonderpus octopus during this stage in life is mostly common during black water dive. This guys was found traveling the bottom at 6m.
I was super lucky 🙏🍀

"B&W Weekend Wings"
Eagle ray flying in waters of the red sea.
Always great to have this couple of eagle rays visiting divers around "Katzaa" dive site in eilat.
Here is one of them spreading its wings while flying around us 🤩

OctoSight, just sea through it

Using my Canon G16 with my diopter may let me get some details for that I must get really close to my objects, some get scared and others get interested.
This encounter was super interesting for me even with my previous experience with octopie that have touched me, explored me, played with me.. But this one, it kept changing it colors and texture, like it's was showing me something.. I have no idea what was that but all felt like a conversation.
Sadly I my buddy showed signs of boardem and disappointment because of my abandonment 🤷‍♂️

A baby sea urchin!! Less than 1cm
Might be an Astropyga radiata (fire sea urchin)
It is not casual view for divers, especially not to find them on an old sea urchin skeleton 💀

I went scouting a new deep dive site, an artificial reef that was placed about 30 years ago and remained a rumor between the local fishermen till that day.

Once you go below 25 it's all cloudy, feels like a different place, definitely not like 10m above.
Exploring in nowhere and suddenly here is artificial reef!!
Embedded tires, forms shapes of triangles, all covered with hard and soft corals, diversity of marine creatures all living with no sun, under an underwater volcanic cloud.

A juvenile Antennarius maculatus or clown frogfish posing for me at 33m
