I’m always on the hunt for good food, and pancakes are no exception. Here are my 5 favorite pancakes in the world after multiple visits to each:

But what am I missing?! What’s your favorite pancake I should try next?

This one’s for those of you who are constantly checking to see if the mountain’s out… 👀

Look, we get it.

Whether you’re visiting Seattle for the first time, heading into town for summer adventures, or you’ve lived here your whole life, there’s something magical about spotting Mount Rainier, the Olympics, or even the North Cascades from the middle of the city.

That’s why I partnered with to put together a guide to some of Seattle’s best viewpoints for catching unforgettable views of Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks — from iconic overlooks and neighborhood parks to one of my personal favorites: the deck of a Washington State Ferry.

Save this for your next clear day, send it to someone visiting Seattle, and let me know which spot I missed. 👇

The best part of any ski trip to Japan is that it’s about so much more than the slopes. Sitting just above the hot spring town of Shibu Onsen and within an hour’s drive of about a dozen ski resorts is the famous Snow Monkey Park.

A short, albeit very icy in the winter, stroll through a forest brings you to a pool along the river where the macaques gather in the warm water. While touristy, it’s a fascinating place to observe the social interactions of primates - monkey and human alike.

It can be reached via public transportation, but I would recommend showing up early because it can get busy!

This is why you always have the window open - you never know when you’re going to look over and see the aurora dancing seemingly beside you! It was a beautiful moment when the captain let everybody know and joy rippled through the plane. And the show went on for hours!

I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Taylor Swift recently. No, not THAT Taylor Swift. The guy who lives in Seattle who had the name first, and whose life has been nothing short of hijacked the last few years.
