I’m headed back to in just a couple weeks and to say I’m excited would be the understatement of a lifetime.

Not only do I get to revisit the incredible and .hotel.restaurant you see in this video… I get to do it all while getting married to ! Watch out Swiss Alps, here we come!

A little stroll is good for the soul.

Had an hour today to explore a couple new towns in the Cotswolds, and how charming they were. Someday I’ll come back for a longer visit and walk through all the little towns, but grateful to be back!

The best part of any ski trip to Japan is that it’s about so much more than the slopes. Sitting just above the hot spring town of Shibu Onsen and within an hour’s drive of about a dozen ski resorts is the famous Snow Monkey Park.

A short, albeit very icy in the winter, stroll through a forest brings you to a pool along the river where the macaques gather in the warm water. While touristy, it’s a fascinating place to observe the social interactions of primates - monkey and human alike.

It can be reached via public transportation, but I would recommend showing up early because it can get busy!
