A lil catch-up that reminds us why Elsewhere is here 🥹 for stories that touch the heart. 🧡

Her mother’s hard-earned money is below minimum, around 3** pesos a day. The drink cost 160 pesos, and she said her daughter really wanted to visit our café, so they looked for it nag ikot-ikot talaga sila, without the child knowing how much her mom sacrifices just to make her happy. Almost half of her daily salary, spent out of love. As in masayang masaya yung nanay niya nag kukwento sa amin kanina.

Our heart was honestly in awe… and couldn’t help but cry. You can truly see and feel how much a mother’s love goes beyond anything.

Her daughter is currently undergoing therapy for scoliosis.

Some stories just stay with you. Haysss 🥹💚
