The big switch: I’ve let go of digital and completely transitioned to 35mm film.

I’m hoping the switch will make me feel like I’m starting from scratch again. It’s all about embracing that beginner’s mindset, enjoying the thrill of waiting for the film to develop, and appreciating analog, imperfections and all.

The plan: learn how to shoot film with multiple strobes.

Now what do I do with my Lightroom and Topaz AI subscription? 🫨

Sidni is one the many Balinese farmers that have been creating rice terraces specifically for tourism rather than agriculture. The rice fields are well manicured to maintain the aesthetics and he says they don't let the crop grow for more than 4 months. His basket was full of overgrown grass and wild growth.

Spotlight: The Lanzones Farmers of Majayjay, Laguna

August to December marks the harvesting season of Lanzones in the Philippines. We were just walking on the road when one of locals gave us a handful of Lanzones with a smile without saying anything. They sell it at ₱12/Kg.
