Releasing a few more zines for the month of June.

This month, I’m adding two new digital zines to the shop featuring Reese Bueno.

The release includes Reese 01 and Reese 02.

I’ve always liked the idea of giving my unpublished sets a proper home — not just as selected posts, but as complete visual stories. These zines let me present the work more intentionally.

Both will be available starting this June as full-colour digital downloads.

You can find them through the link in my bio.

Click Shop.

Mature viewers only.

You may need to complete Patreon’s age confirmation before purchasing. Creating a Patreon account is FREE.

iPhone users: open the link in Safari or Chrome to avoid extra App Store fees.

An $8 discount will be automatically applied for the first few purchasers of the zine.

Thank you always for supporting my work 🙏

I primarily use photography now as my main form of expression, but earlier in my day, I was more into drawing and sketching. The quality of my work hit a bump when I broke my shoulder. I still draw every now and then, but most if my ideas now translate into images.

To think that these were done waaaay before AI made things so much easier.

I haven’t done these in a while. I think it’s time to restart. I’ve had a few concepts in mind that I haven’t been able to execute because I haven’t found the right model who was down to work with me to make it happen.

Anyone interested? Shoot me a DM.

In 2017, I got into the bandwagon of making sure that my grid is cohesive and linked on the 9-grid frame that IG provides as preview to your profile. I usually planned by month on what to post, while ensuring I have shot enough content for the succeeding month. Scheduling posts was also an in thing then — not sure if it is still today. I hate schedules now, but I try to post something as soon as I wake up.

This layout was what I had on my very first account . An ode to my 2017 grid.

“I’ve realized yet again that there is absolutely no distinction between my commissioned and noncommissioned images. Separating photography into different categories makes little sense anymore. The uninteresting photographs will end up in wastebaskets and the interesting ones in museums and galleries.” - Peter Lindbergh, Artforum, May 2016.

There are days so vivid, you can recall them as if they happened only moments ago. Other times, things come back like a dream—you know they happened, yet somehow, you can’t quite grasp them.

Nobody asked for my gear list, but I still made one 👹

This is part work kit, part creative toolbox, part collection of things that help me shape mood, texture, atmosphere, and the occasional happy accident. Some modern. Some vintage. Some are strange little pieces of glass with more character than technical perfection.

Current gear rotation:

Cameras:
Sony A7C II
Polaroid Pathfinder 110A

Modern Lenses:
Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM II
Sony 24–50mm f/2.8 G
Sony 35mm f/1.8

Vintage / Character Glass:
Helios 44-2 f1.5
Helios 40 K-start f/2
Bell & Howell 16mm Super D Proval 2-inch f/1.4 projector lens
George Moua’s Wiggle Lens
PolarPro Light Leak 28mm f/11

Adapters:
RAF Camera K-start Lens Adapter
K&F Lens Adapters
Meike Macro Extension Tubes

Filters:
PolarPro Shortstache Helix filters

Video / Audio Tools:
Hollyland Vcore
DJI Mic 3

Lighting / Accessories:
Aputure MC
SmallRig RF 10C
SmallRig HawkLock H21 Cage + Accessories
Xiaomi Floor Selfie Stick

Do you need all of this to make a good photo? Absolutely not. Do I enjoy pretending every piece has a deeply strategic purpose? OFCOURSEYES 😂

But really, gear does not create the story. It just helps me translate what I already see in my head — I just wanna make sure, I have things on hand, instead of saying: “I didn’t bring it today.”
