Naaresto ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng mga operatiba ng Philippine National Police ang isang listed Regional Most Wanted Person ng CALABARZON sa isinagawang operasyon sa So. Parola, Barangay Casague, Sta. Cruz, Occidental Mindoro noong Mayo 11, 2026, bandang alas-10:15 ng umaga.

Kinilala ang nadakip na suspek na si “Rod”, 29 taong gulang, at residente ng nasabing lugar.

Ang operasyon ay pinangunahan ng mga tauhan ng Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station katuwang ang 2nd Occidental Mindoro Provincial Mobile Force Company at 402nd Regional Mobile Force Battalion 4B.

Inaresto ang akusado sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest, kaugnay sa kasong Qualified R**e. Walang inirekomendang piyansa para sa pansamantalang kalayaan ng akusado.

Sa kasalukuyan, nasa kustodiya na ng Sta. Cruz MPS ang naarestong indibidwal para sa kaukulang disposisyon at dokumentasyon.

Patuloy na pinaigting ng Occidental Mindoro Police Provincial Office ang kampanya laban sa mga wanted person bilang bahagi ng pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at kaayusan sa lalawigan, alinsunod sa direktiba ni PCOL TIMOTEO L. ESPIRITU, JR., Provincial Director ng Occidental Mindoro PPO.

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Demonstrating intensified operational pressure against fugitives and wanted persons across the region, the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA (PRO MIMAROPA) arrested six (6) Most Wanted Persons facing charges for r**e, qualified r**e of a minor, and murder during coordinated 24-hour manhunt operations conducted across Palawan and Occidental Mindoro from May 11 to 12, 2026.

The successful operations were carried out under the command direction of PRO MIMAROPA Acting Regional Director PBGEN Christopher Ramos Dela Cruz through the implementation of the “F.I.G.H.T. C.R.I.M.E.S.” framework, which strengthens intelligence-driven operations, operational coordination, accountability, and focused law enforcement efforts against criminal elements throughout the region.

Leading the major accomplishments was the arrest of Palawan’s Rank No. 3 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level) in Roxas, Palawan, who was facing multiple violations of Republic Act 7610 and eleven (11) counts of qualified r**e of a minor.

Separate manhunt operations in Puerto Princesa City likewise resulted in the arrest of the Rank No. 8 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level), Rank No. 9 Most Wanted Person (City Level), and Rank No. 10 Most Wanted Person (City Level) wanted for murder with the use of an illegally possessed firearm, along with another Rank No. 10 Most Wanted Person (City Level) wanted for r**e.

Meanwhile, intensified operations in Occidental Mindoro led to the arrest of the Rank No. 5 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level) for qualified r**e by sexual assault during a focused manhunt operation conducted in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

The operations highlighted PRO MIMAROPA’s sustained operational tempo, strengthened inter-unit coordination, and relentless campaign to locate, arrest, and bring fugitives before the courts.

“These successful operations reflect the kind of police service we demand from every unit in PRO MIMAROPA — deliberate, coordinated, intelligence-driven, and uncompromising against criminality,” PBGEN Dela Cruz said.

“Our manhunt operations will remain relentless until every wanted person is accounted for and brought before the law,” he added.

PBGEN Dela Cruz further emphasized that under the “F.I.G.H.T. C.R.I.M.E.S.” framework, PRO MIMAROPA will continue intensifying intelligence-driven operations, strengthening operational coordination, and sustaining aggressive law enforcement efforts to ensure safer communities across the MIMAROPA region.

All arrested individuals are now under police custody while appropriate documentation and legal procedures are being undertaken by the concerned operating units.

₱5.1-M WORTH OF SUSPECTED MA*****NA KUSH INTERCEPTED IN PASAY MAIL FACILITY

The Philippine National Police (PNP), through the Aviation Security Group (AVSEGROUP), intercepted eight abandoned inbound parcels containing suspected ma*****na kush during a coordinated interdiction operation at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City on May 11, 2026.

Authorities said the parcels, which originated from the United States and were declared as ordinary personal items such as clothing, books, and calendars, yielded approximately 3.4 kilograms of suspected dried ma*****na leaves with an estimated standard drug price of more than ₱5.1 million.

The suspected illegal substances were discovered through routine cargo x-ray screening, K-9 inspection, and manual verification jointly conducted by airport interdiction personnel, the Bureau of Customs, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
The parcels were later confirmed to have been abandoned and are now under the custody of PDEA for proper disposition and further investigation.

Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. commended the operating units and partner agencies for their vigilance and professionalism.

“Malaking bagay ang maagap na pagbabantay at maayos na koordinasyon ng ating mga operatiba at partner agencies. Sa ganitong paraan, napipigilan natin ang pagpasok ng mga ipinagbabawal na droga na maaaring makasama sa ating mga komunidad,” PGen Nartatez said.

He also emphasized that the PNP remains committed to conducting operations that are firm, lawful, and respectful of individual rights.

“We will continue to enhance our monitoring and interdiction efforts in major ports of entry while ensuring that all actions are carried out within the bounds of the law. Ang mahalaga, tuloy-tuloy ang ating pagtutulungan para mapanatiling ligtas ang ating mamamayan,” he added.

The operation supports the PNP Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations and the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to strengthen coordination among law enforcement agencies against illegal drug activities and transnational crimes.

The PNP assured the public that coordination with partner agencies will continue to be strengthened as part of the organization’s commitment to Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.

PNP SEIZES OVER ₱16-M WORTH OF SUSPECTED SHABU IN NATIONWIDE ANTI-DRUG OPS

The Philippine National Police (PNP) confiscated more than ₱16 million worth of suspected shabu in a series of anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Pampanga, Cebu, Iloilo, Rizal, and Catanduanes from May 11 to early May 12, 2026.

Among the major accomplishments was the interception of an abandoned inbound parcel containing around 974 grams of suspected shabu valued at approximately ₱6.6 million at the UPS Cargo Area inside the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga on May 11. The operation was carried out through the joint efforts of the PNP Aviation Security Group, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Bureau of Customs, National Bureau of Investigation, and other law enforcement units.

In Mandaue City, Cebu, a buy-bust operation conducted on May 11 led to the arrest of a Filipino high-value individual and the confiscation of approximately 500 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱3.4 million.

Another operation in Estancia, Iloilo before midnight on the same day resulted in the arrest of another identified HVI and the recovery of about 254 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱1.7 million.

Meanwhile, operatives in Taytay, Rizal arrested another suspect during a buy-bust operation on May 12, where authorities seized approximately 180 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱1.2 million.

In Catanduanes, joint anti-drug operatives also arrested two identified HVIs during an operation in Virac on May 11 and confiscated about 500 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱3.4 million.

Chief PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating units for the successful operations and emphasized the importance of sustained cooperation among agencies and communities.

“Patuloy nating palalakasin ang ating kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga sa pamamagitan ng maayos na koordinasyon, maingat na operasyon, at paggalang sa karapatan ng bawat isa. Hindi tayo titigil hangga’t may mga ilegal na gawain na naglalagay sa panganib sa ating mga komunidad,” PGen Nartatez said.

He also reminded all police units to remain professional and community-oriented in carrying out police operations.

“Ang mahalaga ay maramdaman ng mamamayan na naroon ang PNP para protektahan sila. We will continue to enforce the law fairly and responsibly while ensuring that our actions remain within the bounds of the law,” he added.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were turned over to the proper authorities for documentation and legal disposition.

The PNP reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining intensified anti-illegal drug operations nationwide as part of the continuing campaign for safer communities under Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.
