They are being kept in a shallow pool originally meant for people and forced to endure human contact, laser shows, loud music, etc around the clock. This is truly horrific. Share far and wide!

“FRACTALS OF THE SEA”

Feather stars unfold in vivid lines and shifting hues, their patterns blurring the boundary between nature and design. The delicate repetitions reveal the hidden and hypnotizing geometry of nature.

“GAZE”

Gaze reveals intimate encounters with marine animals through close observation of their eyes. By isolating this feature, the series highlights the diversity of form, color, and texture found beneath the ocean’s surface. Tight framing and carefully placed light draw attention to the cosmic storms visible within their gaze—patterns shaped by environment and evolution. These images highlight the complexity of marine life that often goes unnoticed in fleeting encounters.

January Wildlife Entry

“Glow from Within”

This image relies entirely on backlighting to reveal the subject. A strobe placed behind the leaf scorpionfish passes through its thin, semi-translucent body, creating an illusion of it glowing from within. The light transforms camouflage into illumination, defining the fish’s form and texture while creating a stark contrast with surroundings it normally blends seamlessly into.
