Nadaanan ko to sa paglalakad kagabi pauwi. Ano gagawin namin, tatagos dyan sa poste? O sige pwede naman iwasan, e paano kung masagi ng rumaragasang sasakyan? Nakakafrustrate lang talaga. Walang maayos na sidewalk. May encroachment, kung hindi poste e madalas mga establishments pa.

Sure ako hindi lang to dito, marami pang mga lugar dito ang walang malakarang maayos na sidewalk. At sure ako di lang din ako ang nadidismaya sa mga ganitong bagay. Tingin ko hindi natin to deserve.

CALLING ALL CAMPUS JOURNALISTS!

Apply for the Gene Boyd Lumawag Grant and attend the 18th Professional Photojournalism & Documentary Workshop for FREE!

The Photojournalists’ Center of the Philippines (P*P) is offering two (2) full grants for college campus journalists currently affiliated with a school publication.

Workshop Dates: November 25–29, 2026
Location: Cebu City
Priority: Applicants enrolled in Visayas colleges/universities (Cebu, Bohol, Leyte, Samar, Negros, Panay)

Application Requirements:
- Basic photography skills & passion for photojournalism
- Own camera + access to photo editing software
- Portfolio of sample works
- Proof of enrollment for AY 2026–2027
- Recommendation letter from a professor, adviser, or editor

Grant Inclusions: Full workshop participation fee, accommodation, meals, workshop materials, field transport, t-shirt, and certificate. (Grantees handle their own round-trip travel expenses).

May mga bagay talagang hindi natin maiiwasan. Isa rito ang mapuri ng ibang tao.

Pero hayaan mo lang sila. Alam mo naman umpisa palang na talagang magaling ka.

Mananawa ka lang sa dami ng mga ganyang papuring matatanggap mo.

Basta sa sarili mo alam mo mas magaling ka sa kanila. Wag ka magpapalamang.

Galing lang ang puhunan dito.

There were already tools that could add or remove elements from a picture even before AI. What changed is that AI has made these tools much more accessible and easier to use.

And that’s fu**ed up, especially when people see an AI-enhanced picture and assume that it represents the truth. They will believe what they see without any discernment. It can easily be used to spread misinformation, especially when people no longer question whether an image is an accurate representation of what actually happened.
