I dove into photography, as a hobby, back in 2012, starting out as a hobbies and cosplay events attendee, with just a point-and-shoot camera. It served it's purpose well, providing me with practice in taking shots and gaining confidence in my skills. Eventually I would set aside my point-and-shoot, and begin primarily using a Canon DSLR. Photography was definitely not something that I thought I'd

find myself being thoroughly into back during the days when I was still contemplating on how I would live my life. When asked what I'd like to do, as a means of helping me decide on what course I'd be taking in college, I'd simply said that I wanted to write - hence landing and graduating with a degree in journalism from the University of the Philippines. Here I am, several years since I started walking down the path to whatever destiny has in store for me - a photographer (among other things). To cement my individuality and independence from any external or preconceived perceptions, it was decided that my artistic identity would be known simply as "Just Nicco", for that is whom I simply am.

What I thought was a fisherman, turned out to be a scout of a gang of thieves—it's only thanks to asking uniformed security that I found out.
So just like the guards, I caught a thief on camera, just not in the act.
