Kapag Lumago, Hindi na hihinto: Alex Eala, Kasaysayan ang Sinulat sa Wimbledon

Isang makasaysayang tagumpay ang hinatid ng pambato ng Pilipinas na si Alexandra "Alex" Eala matapos niyang patalsikin ang defending champion at world No. 3 na si Iga Swiatek sa ikatlong round ng Wimbledon Championships nitong Sabado, July 4, 2026.

Sa isang tensyonadong laban sa Centre Court, pinatunayan ni Eala ang kanyang galing sa score na 7-6(9), 6-2. Ang tagumpay na ito ay nagtulak sa 21-anyos na tennis ace upang maging kauna-unahang Pinay na makarating sa second week (Round of 16) ng isang Grand Slam tournament sa Open Era.

Ang determinasyon ni Alex na lumago at patuloy na humamon sa mga higante ng tennis ay isang paalala na kapag ang isang atleta ay nagsimulang magtagumpay nang may puso at husay, wala nang makakapigil sa kanyang paglalakbay patungo sa tugatog.

When I created Sorayume Cafe, I wanted to prove that branding isn't just about a logo on a cup. It’s about creating a space—even a digital one—that blends Japanese minimalism with dreamlike aesthetics to invite people to "pause, reflect, and imagine."
