Belonging to a family of photographers, he developed a thirst to prove himself. Being the youngest child of his family, he proved to have an eye for a better perspective. His bloodline tells of a story of great artists in the fields of theater arts, photography, graphic design, and culinary arts. At the age of 17, Don took a Multimedia Arts course at First Academy of Computer & Arts. While studyin

g he joined CEO, his family’s photography company. He gained new knowledge and was exposed in the travel, fashion, and advertising photography. However, he felt that he wants to start on a different path. When he was 18, he founded his first company together with his friends and they named it COLAB in 2011. COLAB offers photography and video services for wedding and debuts. In 2014, he started his own business Don Tapan Photography. But despite having his new business, he wanted to focus on his new work when he became part of Toto Villaruel’s team as an apprentice in 2015. Toto encouraged Don to still continue his business thus Don Tapan Photography re-emerged in 2015. Don Tapan Photography follows a very simple concept when it comes to taking pictures. Natural, clean, and bright are the words one would describe when you see Don’s photos. He likes keeping the simplicity that flows through the collection. Making the people as the main subject of the photo. Through the lens of his camera, he captures the moments that matter to the couple. TThe goal of Don Tapan Photography is to tell a story beyond just words can communicate.
