Introducing Amielyn “Asliyah” Madale Limbona, Juris Doctor, Al-Haj, Chairperson of Arkat Lawanen Women Empowerment Producers Cooperative, representing the Maranao Tribe, and one of the Honoured Dignitaries at the Women Economic Forum Australia 2025.
Inspired by the legendary Darangen Epic, her leadership at Arkat Lawanen embodies the spirit of resilience, empowerment and cultural pride. A passionate advocate for Women’s Economic Empowerment, she was honoured as a Go Negosyo Awardee for her remarkable work in mentoring and uplifting Filipina entrepreneurs in the MSME sector.
Her Excellency has served as Commissioner on Culture at the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), advancing cultural preservation and gender inclusivity. A proud Maranao Muslim, she has also worked as a Halal Consultant for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), contributing to the development of the Philippines’ halal ecosystem.
She continues to make an impact as Board of Trustee for the Philippine Federation of Local Council of Women, PNP Special Action Force Advisory Board Director, and Director of Global UNAP. Under her leadership, Arkat Lawanen, in partnership with the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), launched the Halal Health and Wellness Practitioners Program to support Muslim-friendly tourism and shariah-compliant wellness services.
Her work reflects her lifelong mission to promote inclusivity, cultural integrity and sustainable empowerment for women and communities across the Philippines and beyond.
