El Nido, Palawan

Not everything reveals itself right away.
The light shifts, the skies stay quiet—
and you just follow what’s there, until something changes.

📮 A great postcard isn’t just taken — it’s composed…

📷⛪ This grotto was on the shot list — classic, iconic. Found a spot with both its rock and the tourists…

But something was missing…

Noticed some white paraw — a quiet standout among the usual blues…

Waited…

Until one of them sailed right into the frame, perfectly between the rocks….

When the scene speaks for itself — that’s a postcard. 😉

Boracay will always have a spot on anyone’s summer list—no doubt.

This weekend? It’s bound to be another hit for beach lovers and partygoers alike.

Not really the scene for this Tito, though. But the beaches? The light? The textures? That’s what pushed me to finally make the trip.

Here’s a throwback to my first ever visit—just two days, but I brought my camera and chased every frame I could hoping to capture the soul of the island.

More from that holiday coming soon—stay tuned! 😍😍😍

I missed posting for National Pet Day yesterday — I was in full-day training — but I couldn’t let it pass without sharing this quiet little story from Boracay.

On our first day, we headed straight to Puka Beach. That’s when this dog started trailing us. At first, we thought he was just looking for food — but he stayed. Hours later, as we waited for the sunset, he returned… this time, playing with us like we were already his humans.

He probably didn’t have a home.
But in that moment, he felt like he belonged.

National Pet Day isn’t just about the animals we call our own. It’s also a gentle reminder to honor the silent companions who walk beside us — even just for a while — and leave paw prints on our hearts.

And just like the song from Wicked that echoed during our training yesterday:

“Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better…
But because I knew you…
I have been changed for good.”

To the strays who remind us what loyalty, presence, and quiet love look like — this one’s for you.

Cloudy days might not seem ideal, but they’re actually a chance to get creative. ☁️✨

With everything looking dull, you have to bring back contrast—and the easiest way? Wear colors! Here, the yellow top and red shorts pop against the gray sand and the predominantly white skies, adding life to the scene.

Pero hindi lang basta click. Tingin-tingin din before you click 🤣 I noticed the waves reaching further up the shore, so I waited for the sand to get more saturated para possible na magkaroon ng reflection. 🌊📸 Small details like this can make a big difference in your shots.

Minsan (o baka nga mas madalas) hindi natin makukuha ang “perfect” conditions—sa photography at sa buhay. But that doesn’t mean we give up. Work with what you have, embrace what nature (and life) gives you, and keep going.

Gaganda rin ‘yan! Tiwala lang sa Taas!

Happy Sunday! 🎨✨

Filipino Barkada travel rule:

If there’s no jump shot, did the trip even happen? 🤷‍♂️🌊✨

Millennials and Gen Z keep the tradition alive, while the titos and titas (of Manila) either cheer from the sidelines or attempt a ‘safe’ half-jump. 😂

Now, the real challenge—can you guess who belongs to which generation just by looking at our jumps? 👀🦵💥

Advance sorry to my friends in this photo—this is all for good fun! 😆✌️ We need to have a 2025 version! 😁❤️

As soon as I saw the calm pool the previous day, I knew it was calling for some stunning reflection shots. The golden hour’s warm glow contrasting with the cool aqua/blue tones of the water felt like a “magic in waiting.”

The next morning didn’t unfold exactly as planned because of cloud covers, but the soft glow of the light fixtures brought its own kind of charm.

Now, imagine this: you slowly dip your toes in, feel the cool water ripple around your legs, and finally surrender your whole body to the pool allowing deep relaxation. Would you take that plunge? Or would you enjoy the view from the edge?

Let me know below!

Read somewhere that the solution to stress isn’t rest—it’s nature. 🌿

Quite interesting….

And if you happen to be looking for a nature escape (maybe this Christmas or even for 2025) then go and uncover a hidden gem in Balete, Batangas - Cintai Corito Gardens. Just a 2 to 3-hour drive from Manila (depending on the traffic situation), it’s the perfect spot to both escape the city without straying too far and stay away from the crowds of Tagaytay, Nasugbu, or Lipa.

At Cintai, you’ll trade TVs and strong WiFi for lush gardens, stunning Balinese-inspired architecture and the kind of slow day that’s hard to find in this fast paced world.

Bonus!

Their suman is definitely a must try.
