I’ve known Marvin and Dianne since 2012 because I’m their photographer for both their pre-wedding in Hong Kong and wedding in Makati (talk about client loyalty). So when Dianne messaged me about the idea of having their post wedding/anniversary shoot in Portugal and Spain, I totally knew that this is going to be a fun filled trip. I’ve known these two to be easy going, generous and pleasant to be with. With two kids already, it seems that these two are just starting out with their love affair given the kind of affection, care and commitment they are showing to each other.

We started the shoot at the colourful cities of Lisbon, Sintra and Belem in Portugal. Ended it in the classic Andalusian region in Spain which comprises Granada, Seville and Malaga.

Cheers to good memories, laughters, adventures and of course for great culinary experience in which Portugal and Spain are known for.

When Marvin and Justine had the idea of having their pre-wedding shoot at the canadian rockies, I was like wow, I'm finally going to one of my dream destination places to shoot and its finally happening. So they precisely planned our itinerary months before. Fast forward, a week before the shoot, weather forecast was undesirable like its gonna rain and will have occasional snow storms for that particular week. But I said to them, hey we have 1 week in Alberta we might at least get lucky even 1 day. So from NYC went on to my flight to Alberta, and when I arrived there, oh boy! it happened. There was a crazy rain and snow storm that day! Weather forecast was really accurate! I was kinda concerned on how can we make the most out of this shoot given this kind of situation. But you know, God really do make WONDERS! the next day, it was all sunny! until the end of that week. It rained a little bit on the last day of our shoot. The temperature is still playing around -5 to 2 degrees C. But yeah! it was all perfect weather!
