I was privileged to be commissioned as an official photographer for this wedding.

The sun was bright and no signs of rain. I was having fun taking photos for them.

Vergil and Marj is a perfect pair, each person complementing the other.

We will experience challenges to our faith and beliefs as we continue on our own journeys of faith. But we can grow through those challenges. When they do come our way, let us join in prayer with the father in this story, “I believe, help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24). Let us pray that our faith in God, and his Son Jesus Christ, will be deepened and encouraged to grow.

If you just read the first part of this verse, it would immediately sound an alarm indicating arrogance: "I can do all things."But the next two words in the verse take this out of the context of arrogance altogether: "through Christ." It is not a boast of self: "I can do all things." It is, I can do all things through Christ! There is a huge difference.

To get the impact of this, stop and think about what you couldn't do without Him! You could not effectively and thoroughly know your lost condition. Without Him, you could not have adequate concepts of God. Without Him, you could realize no victory over sin. Without Him, we would all be a victim of the wrath to come. Jesus said to His disciples "without Me you can do nothing," (Jno. 15:5). In Ephesians 2:12 teaches outside of Christ, we have "no hope" and we are "without God in the world."

So with Christ through Him; in our relationship of active faith in Him we have strength we could not have any other way! Strength to adequately evaluate ourselves. Strength to know the difference between right and wrong (by faithfully applying His Word). Strength that comes through the remission of our sins. Strength in response to prayer we offer to God through Him. Strength of character as we follow His example and obey Him. This is strength in such abundance, we are able to do everything God wants us to do. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Everything in our life is an opportunity to glorify God. Paul just said in 1 Corinthians 10:31, “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all,” everything, the whole lot of life, “to the glory of God.” So, every moment of every day you and I will make decisions that either glorify or do not glorify God. This means that everything in our life is an opportunity to glorify God.

SFC Vision: Every single man and woman all over the world experiencing Christ.

Time flies so fast. I could still remember the day I got hold of the SFC CLP flyer, it was on September 2 after attending the holy mass. On the first session, which was the orientation day, I was overwhelmed (OMG!) to hear that there are still 12 talks and 12 Sundays more, however out of eagerness I attended almost all sessions despite of my tight schedule. One of the things I've learned in the CLP, is that only God's love can fill in the inner emptiness in our hearts that no earthly possessions can be used as a substitute with HIS love. It doesn't end here since the journey still continues. God bless and ENJOY!

The biggest thing to remember when going through trials and afflictions is to stay focused on the Lord, and continually renew our minds with His precious promises. Doubt and discouragement come when we forget His perspective and we start looking at our situations through the eyes of fear, not faith.
