The war on drugs wasn’t perfect, but public safety under Duterte was undeniable. Those who never lived in fear of drug-infested communities will never understand why many believe he did the right thing. His priority was national security, and offenders had the chance to surrender. Extrajudicial killings resulted from police operations, not state policy - any abuse was on individual officers, not Duterte. If all sectors had fully cooperated, the campaign wouldn’t have been as controversial.

Duterte did everything he could for a nation free of drugs, crime, and violence. Public safety is a shared responsibility. This is not just about human rights - it’s about human lives. His approach was tough, but the results were clear. Some focus on human rights concerns, while others recognize the need for decisive action to protect citizens. In the end, governance is about balance, and ensuring safety is a duty shared by both leaders and the people.

totoo pala yung hindi ka mapapagod sa tao pero mapapagod ka sa pinaparamdam nila. it’s like no matter how much love you have for them if things keep repeating‚ you’ll give up eventually. giving up on them doesn’t mean that you don’t love them anymore or the love that you have for them isn’t that deep‚ sometimes your heart will get tired especially if what’s happening is a cycle.

I’m learning to let go,
to accept that some things
aren’t meant to return,

and to find peace in knowing that love,
no matter how deep,
should never mean losing myself.

Never beg for love.

Love should flow naturally, not feel like a battle for attention, respect, or commitment. If you have to constantly prove your worth to someone, they’re not the one for you. A person who truly values you will never make you question where you stand.

You can’t make someone appreciate you.
You can’t make someone stay.
You can’t make someone love you the way you love them.

The harsh truth is that sometimes, the person you pour your heart into is the same person who drains the life out of you. Holding on to someone who isn’t holding on to you will only break you further.

Some people enter your life as lessons, not lifelong companions. Their presence may feel like a blessing, but their absence will teach you more than their love ever could.

Never lose yourself in the process of trying to fix what was never meant to be whole. You deserve someone who meets you where you are, not someone you have to chase just to feel wanted.

If they don’t choose you fully, let them go. Love should never feel like convincing someone to stay.

Nung nawala ako,
hindi naman ako hinanap.

At least ngayon, gets ko na.
Tama na ‘yun.

Naniniwala ako na minsan,
yung kawalan ng sagot,
yun na mismo yung sagot.

Lahat tayo dumaan sa point na
iniwan na lang bigla.
Walang paalam,
walang paliwanag.
At syempre,
gusto natin ng closure—
yung explanation na makakapagpalinaw,
yung makakapag-validate ng nararamdaman natin.

Pero minsan,
yung “wala”—

at ikaw?
Nawalan ka lang ng taong hindi marunong
makakita ng tunay na halaga mo.

Masakit sa simula,
oo, ramdam ko yan.
Pero at the end of the day,

Kahit anong effort,
kahit anong pilit,
kung ayaw sayo, wala na talaga.
At kahit kailan,

There was a woman named Mia who loved deeply. She always showed up for her friends, supported her partner, and did everything she could to make others happy. But no matter how much she gave, no one gave back the same love and care.

One day, Mia told her grandmother how empty she felt. Her grandmother smiled and handed her a pitcher of water. “Pour some into these glasses,” she said, pointing to a row of empty cups.

Mia poured until the pitcher was empty.

Her grandmother then asked, “Now, what will you do if someone else needs water?”

Mia looked at the empty pitcher and shrugged. “I don’t have anything left to give.”

Her grandmother nodded and said, “That’s the problem, my dear. You’re giving all your love to people who don’t refill your pitcher. If they don’t give back, you’ll always end up empty. Find people who will fill your cup too.”

The lesson: If you give love and don’t get any back, it’s not because your love isn’t good enough. It’s because you’re giving it to the wrong people. Surround yourself with those who value and return the love you give.
