When the skies finally cleared, we met up with Vincent and Mods again. Tokyo greeted us with sunshine and a completely different pace. No rushing to escape the rain. No wondering if the clouds would lift. Just the chance to create the photos we had imagined from the start.

Looking back, I’m glad we didn’t let one difficult day define their story. Sometimes, all you need is another sunrise.

This Japan pre wedding shoot didn’t go as planned. It rained almost the entire day. Mt. Fuji never appeared, the ground was muddy, and Mods’ gown was soaked. So we worked with what the day gave us. Sometimes, you don’t need perfect weather to create beautiful photos.

Some light changes everything.

As the sun settled lower, the water gathered shades of emerald that seemed almost unreal. Out on the yacht, surrounded by nothing but sea and sky, it felt as though the world had slowed just enough to be noticed.

Every corner offered a different canvas, but she remained the center of every frame.

Before Janella slipped into her Tinghun gown, we spent a quiet morning creating these portraits. Soft pink florals framed the home, beautiful works of art surrounded every room, and the morning light found its way into each space.

We followed the light, allowing each room to become a setting for portraits that felt effortless, elegant, and true to her.

This renewal of vows was a beautifully intimate gathering, just Monch, Tin, their five little ones, and a few cherished loved ones. It’s amazing to see how their love has grown, just like their family, with each child celebrated by a ring.

Their children even helped create their invitation, adding those adorable drawings. Coming back to the same church where it all began made it feel like a full circle moment, filled with heartfelt memories.

Jayson and Evelyn, wrapped in deep reds and golds.

Evelyn in her red gown, Jayson in a marsala suit. Bold, striking, and quietly elegant all at once. But beyond the color and tradition, it was the portraits that truly stood out.

There was a certain clarity to how Evelyn envisioned these moments. And somehow, frame by frame, we found ourselves creating images that felt exactly like what she had in mind.

Looking back, this is one of those weddings that is easy to remember.

Maybe it was the setting. Standing inside San Agustin, surrounded by stone walls that have witnessed centuries of history, already gives the day a certain weight before anything even begins.

Then there were the details. The bridesmaids in yellow brought so much warmth into every scene. Marc’s white suit stood out the moment he walked into the frame. By the time everyone gathered at Marriott for the reception, lanterns covered the ceiling and transformed the room into something that felt straight out of a storybook.

There was so much to take in, but none of it felt like it was competing for attention. Everything simply became part of Marc and Shaniece’s story.
