The PUPLHS academic contest began on December 12, 2025, and ended on December 16, 2025, giving talented students an opportunity to use their knowledge, skills, and ideas. As students from grades 7 through 10 competed, a genuinely competitive environment developed as they collaborated to provide insightful answers, talk persuasively, and write with perseverance. These tournaments foster teamwork and camaraderie in addition to motivating students to compete and improve their skills. These contests not only encourage students to join competitions and hone their abilities but also allow teamwork and fellowship to prosper.
Candidates gathered in the Science Laboratory on the first day of the Essay Writing competition, where they were assigned a particular subject to write about. The General Information Quiz Bee followed, where students raced to provide prompt answers to questions. Candidates were assigned a topic and a word restriction for their essay creation during the Pagsulat ng Sanaysay competition, which took place in the AVR.Additionally, the Information and Technology Quiz Bee was held in the Multi-Purpose Hall as the final competition on the first day. Students demonstrated their collaboration and teamwork by giving their best answers.
The Basic Statistics and Basic Mathematics Quiz Bee kicked off the second day's academic competition. Students were pre-selected to compete and collaborate in groups. The Social Science Quiz Bee took place at the library. where each section's single student competed against the others. Then arose Dagliang Talumpati, a competition in which participants use improvisation while speaking Filipino.
Finally, we had the Philippine History, Culture, and Arts Quiz Bee, which was held in the library, and the Extemporaneous Speaking, which was also held in the AVR.
