I used to think every portrait had to be perfectly lit with my Profoto lights. Maybe because I was chasing perfection more than connection.
Yesterday at Lanes Kalapyahan, I decided to let them go.
Just Janna, the fading afternoon light, a gentle sea breeze, and moments that didnât ask to be perfectâonly remembered. I gave these photos a little love in Lightroom, then finished them with a subtle vintage touch in Snapseed. Not to hide imperfections, but to preserve the feeling they gave me.
Sometimes, the most beautiful photographs arenât the ones with the most expensive setup. Theyâre the ones that make you pause years later and whisper, âI remember this day.â
Thank you, Janna, for always trusting my lens and reminding me that simplicity has its own kind of magic.
If youâre waiting for the âperfectâ time, the perfect weather, or the perfect gear to capture your story⌠donât. Your story is already beautiful today.
Flaring Moments â because memories deserve to feel timeless, not just look beautiful. đ¤đˇ
