The blackout may have disrupted our routine, but it also gave us something meaningful — a chance to reconnect.
At Dilangalen National High School (DNHS), what could have been a dull and inconvenient day turned into a moment of joy. Instead of staying inside classrooms or scrolling through their phones, students went outside and played. Some gathered in groups to chat and laugh, while others enjoyed simple outdoor games together.
Without electricity and gadgets, the campus felt different — lighter, warmer, and more alive. It was refreshing to see students fully present, enjoying real conversations and genuine laughter. For a while, everyone slowed down and simply appreciated each other’s company.
The blackout may have been temporary, but the sense of community and connection it brought to DNHS will be remembered.
Sometimes, the brightest moments happen even in the dark. 💙
