Hindi ko maiwasan sumulat para sa kanya
Ilang daang salita, ngunit iba ay walang tugma
Ipabatid sa marikit na taga bandang ilaya
Dilag, binibini, dalaga, hubog nitong isla

Pakiwari ko ngani hindi ito mapapansin
Ano baga ang laban ko sa taga bayanin
Ay ako lamang ito bulol pa mandin
Saglit daw, isang ngiti maski na alanganin.

Bawat hampas ng hangin sa iyong buhok
Kasabay ay puso ko di mapakali sa sulok
Para baga hinihigit papalapit
Hinihigop at sinasabik na mahawakan saglit

Narito nakatayo sa malayo, sa lilim ng punong niyog
Taranta na anya dibdib ko na kumakalabog
