A touch of light..

I went here in Cavite the morning it was announced that a storm was coming over the weekend. It was already raining on and off while I was on the bus, then when I got on a trike, it was pouring nonstop. So I thought I'll have to get used to this weather, wish myself luck, and just enjoy some me-time.

Then the rain stopped when I reached the spot.. and the sun greeted me after a few days of really missing it :)

An invite from photog friends from the South led us to a new shooting playground similar to Bayanan Baywalk.

Since I grew up in the south, Las Pinas to be exact, I have this image in my head of a place that is clean, green and peaceful.. a lot different from Quezon City. It felt like home. So I was drawn to make this image light and less dramatic :)

the first of many steps of Hagdang Bato Falls.. My guide, a senior citizen, was more than eager to look for a foreground because he saw I was looking for leaves, flowers, anything.. Then I saw him carry this heavy rock and placed it to where you see it now. He kept looking for more while I was shooting. So many thanks to him :)
