The Bridge: Almost Done, Always Grateful
Psalm 127:1 - "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain."
My dear brothers and sisters,
The bridge is almost done.
For months we saw dust, delays. We complained. We waited. Now we see it standing - strong, connecting, almost ready.
Isn't that our life too?
There were times we thought God was delaying. Times we thought our prayers were stuck in traffic. But God was building.
A bridge does three things:
1. It connects. What was once divided is now united.
2. It carries. It will carry our children to school, our farmers to market, our sick to hospitals.
3. It remains. Long after we are gone, it will still serve.
Today we are not just grateful for concrete and steel. We are grateful for the hands that built it - the workers, the engineers, the leaders, and every person who was patient.
And we are grateful to God - because every bridge, like every life, is a gift.
The bridge is almost done. But our gratitude should never be almost. Let it be complete.
Let this bridge remind us: God never abandons His work. He always finishes what He starts.
