To Feed Or Not To Feed. Whale Shark hand feeding with small shrimps by local fisherman at Oslob, Philippines and it still in controversy. It is complete unnatural behavior between human and Whale Shark. Some want to ban the feeding, others believe this is an amazing alternate income for the town. Now the Whale Shark research team doing their hark work at that site, hopefully we will get the answer and no more controversy later.
Some rules apply for everyone to dive on this site :
• Do not attempt to touch, ride, or chase a Whale Shark
• Do not restrict normal movement or behavior of the Shark
• Maintain a minimum distance of 3 meters from the Whale Shark
• Do not undertake flash photography
• Do not use underwater motorized diver propulsion.
All the photos taken with Nikon D300 + Nexus Housing + Tokina 10-17mm Fisheye Lens + NO Strobe or Flash.
