Yeah, I’m that foodie who takes photos of her food asking friends to participate and who still stands on chairs and benches to get that flatlay shot.
So glad to finally visit which is just about 1.5km away from my place. 3 things I highly recommend — Muddy Matcha, Tuguegarao Longganisa, and Organic Pesto with Chicken.

Another new year, another birthday in quarantine. Despite the pandemic and my personal everyday struggles, I’m still grateful to be alive and thankful to be surrounded by few genuine people who constantly remind me that life is still beautiful.💚

Covid-19 Pandemic didn’t stop me from creating. Thankful for clients who trusted me and gave me creative freedom in producing the images during lockdown. It was more work and took longer because everything had to be done virtually– from consultations to logistics planning to pre-production to actual shoot to post production. I had to learn how to properly style the client’s food as most were delivered deconstructed to the studio and I had to do everything myself. On top of that, I had to almost turn upside down to check for props that can be used in the shoots. I was a one-woman team. It was challenging but absolutely fun! It also helped me keep my sanity while on strict quarantine.

To those interested in creating content for their business, I’m happy to help.

Sometimes ideas come easy like a flash of bright lightbulb that refuses to dim. And sometimes there’s a drought in the creative juice department. Whenever that happens, I don’t force it. I let the ideas come to me - no matter how long because I know that they’ll come eventually. And when they do, they’re always worth the wait.
Here’s the styling and photography I did for NewManilabites. I woke up at 6am so I can buy newspaper and spring onions at the palengke nearest me. Btw, their Taosi Spareribs is a winner.👌🏽

My last pre-pandemic travel was Bangkok, Thailand with Pepe Samson. Since we’re still in quarantine and travel is looking bleaker by the day, the best way to travel right now is thru the palate. Fun and crazy memories of my BKK trip instantly surfaced when stuffed my face with Thai dishes – Dry Tom Yum, Khao Soi G*i, and Pad Kra Pao Moo, that Pepe personally cooked. He’s selling them, btw. DM him to order and use my code ‘Pota sherep’ to get additional garnish of cilantro.
