I’m sure a lot of photographers can relate to this — iba iba man tayo ng terms & conditions, pero halos pare-pareho ng experiences.
As a freelance photographer for 2 years now, aminado akong mahirap pa rin makipag-deal sa mga clients na kapag malapit na ang event date, saka magkakaroon ng complicated situations at biglang magca-cancel.
Naiintindihan naman namin na important ang downpayment, but for the past 2 years of doing photography, hindi talaga kami nagre-require nito. However, a cancellation fee is a must — especially kung more than 2 weeks na naka-reserve ang date.
Posting this not to complain, but for awareness — both for my fellow photographers and for clients as well. Sana maintindihan ninyo na behind every event coverage is preparation, time, and effort.
Hindi lang ito simpleng pag-click ng camera. It’s about capturing and preserving the special moments of your life.
