A thousand miles, a thousand reasons to fight for the one you love.

That's how Rio and Tin have been for the last couple of years. With her being in Canada for work and him staying here in the good ole' Philippines for the same reason, it's never easy to keep the flame burning. But as with all things under God, theirs is an small ember that turned into a massive forest fire.

Being with them on a fine afternoon in Tagaytay, one can see that no amount of distance could ever change a love like theirs. All the oceans and mountains in between them only serve to strengthen what they have, and not the opposite.

Distance, definitely, makes the heart grow fonder. And yet, it also cements a bond that can withstand a thousand calamities no matter what.

And that strength is what defines Rio and Tin for the years to come.
