After completing a degree in psychology, taking a brief stint in law school and earning his MBA, Wesley Villarica found himself honing a one-time hobby into a professional career dedicated to displaying the beauty and novelty of life in photography. His innovative images are not just photos but are testaments that he is constantly pushing the limits of his imagination, constantly advocating a diff

erent point of view. It was this imagination along with his relentless drive that has led him to form Parallax Studio in 2005. In 2011, he was given the distinction of being awarded as one of Canon’s Crusaders of Light. By seamlessly inculcating the colors and textures of make-up, clothing and styling into thematic lighting and set designs, his photos have graced the pages of Preview, Cosmopolitan, FHM, Town and Country, UNO, Metro Society, Appetite Magazine, Philippine Tatler, YES!, People Asia, Blush, Look, and Luxe . He has also taken portraits of various celebrities such as Manny Pacquiao, Anne Curtis, John Lloyd Cruz, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Jericho Rosales, Bea Alonzo, Iza Calzado, Lovi Poe, as well as top bands like The Click Five, Rivermaya, Cheese, Parokya ni Edgar, Up Dharma Down, 6 Cyclemind, and more.
