The 5th Pinning Ceremony Unfoldsโจ
This act goes beyond the traditional embracing of an act deeply ritualistic and significant in transformation and purpose. As our students receive their pins and vests, they are not just recognizing their progress; rather, they make a solemn promise to take up the mantle for social justice, empathy, and advocacy. The moment is so touching; it brings them into symbols of hope, brightening a world often filled with need.
We are now gearing up for a very highlight event. We tag this activity as Social Work Practicum: 5th Pinning and Vesting Ceremony under the theme "The Metamorphosis: Students of Today, Change makers of Tomorrow." We shall be having a morning session from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and an afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Porac Manpower Training Center on the 30th of August 2024. Morning session Guest speaker will be Maโam, Jhoanne Marcelo Arcega, RSW and the Guest Honor will be Hon. Jaime Venzon Capil. Afternoon Session will be Ma'am, Keicy Palo Yusi, RSW and Guest Honor will be Hon. Francis Laurence Tamayo.
Guidelines for the Ceremony:
โขCome and join us at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the program, so that the start of the whole event may be smooth and orderly.
โขPlease dispose of trash in the various garbage bags so that we may keep a clean decent atmosphere.
โขTo avoid any disruptions during the ceremony, please ensure that your mobile devices are silenced.
โขWe kindly ask all attendees to remain seated throughout the program, as this will help maintain the solemnity and dignity of the occasion.
โขFormal or business attire is encouraged to be worn for respect and reverence since the event is important and professionalism is attached to it.
โขPlease respect the moment during the time of pinning, vesting, oath-taking, and candle-lighting by refraining from moving about and holding conversations.
โขWe do appreciate your wanting to keep memories, but please refrain from taking photos during important moments.
Each pin and vest is a symbol of their unwavering commitment to confront human challenges with compassion and to advocate for justice in every corner of society. This ceremony testifies that they are ready to become deeply involved in community, catalyze change, and carry hope and healing to those places that need these things the most. We shall truly be deep witnesses of the deepest powerful act of service, compassion, and making this world a better place that lies in making oaths and lighting candles.
Today, we celebrate their journeyโa journey of excellence, blended with dedication in its true essence. We stand here together to honor their courage and rededicate our faith that they have what it will take to make this a better, fairer world through social service.๐๐๐
