Why I stopped posting about politics?
For a long time, I was very vocal about politics. I spoke my mind, argued my points, and expressed my frustrations about the issues in our country. It felt like I had to say something, otherwise, I wasn’t doing my part.
But along the way, I realized something important: it was draining me. I was pouring out so much energy in debates, posts, and endless discussions, yet very little was changing. My voice, no matter how loud, didn’t carry the power I thought it did.
That’s when it hit me, there is something far more powerful than raising my voice, and that is bending my knees in prayer.
Maybe God didn’t call me to be a David who fights in the battlefield. Maybe He called me to be like Daniel, faithfully praying for the nation behind the scenes. It doesn’t mean I don’t care; it means I’ve found a better way to care.
Because no matter how passionate our words are, without prayer, they lack eternal weight. A thousand debates cannot accomplish what a single heartfelt prayer can when it is lifted to the One who truly rules over kings and nations.
I don’t need to fight with everyone to prove my stand. What I truly need is to kneel before God and entrust Him with my country. For in the end, the loudest cry will fade, but the quietest prayer will always reach heaven.
