“Marked by ash, moved by grace.”
Today, we are reminded that we are dust, and to dust we shall return. This Ash Wednesday, I choose to humble my heart, seek forgiveness, and begin again with God. May this Lenten season renew my spirit and strengthen my faith. ✝️
Worshippers receive ashes in a cross shape on their foreheads, symbolizing grief for sins and the need for spiritual renewal before Easter. The ashes, usually made from burned palm branches from the previous year’s Palm Sunday, represent sorrow for sins and the desire to change for the better. 🙏
