Watching Baby Punch sit so quietly, cradling his injured tiny hand is really heartbreaking. When you’re this small, a Mama’s touch is supposed to be the magic that makes the pain go away. Without her, he has to be his own comfort—holding himself together, learning to face the ache all on his own.

To anyone who ever had to heal their own wounds, who had to wipe away their own tears at a young age… Punch reminds us of how tough and strong a little heart can be. You are your own comfort little one. Healing takes time, but you are doing it.

Having dogs is a 24/7 cycle of cleaning up, tripping over toys, and wondering how they manage to be so chaotic.

But , they aren’t just pets—they are our literal babies. We give them an abundance of love, a mountain of patience, and constant care, because at the end of the day, this messy, chaotic life wouldn't be the same without our fur-babies. ❤️🐾

All about Punch…
Raised by human hands when he needed it most, Punch found a lifeline in senior zookeeper Kosuke Shikano. From the tiny baby who relied on a stuffed monkey for comfort to the growing baby macaque riding around in a bucket, his safest place has always been just right here with his zoo daddy.

We all know what it feels like to look for a safe haven when the world gets too big, too loud, or too overwhelming. For Punch, that peace isn't found in a place—it's found in a person. It is a beautiful, striking reminder that family isn't just a matter of birth. Sometimes, family is quietly built from the ground up through patience, unconditional love, and the fierce dedication of a zookeeper who simply chose to become a dad.

Even as Punch takes bigger steps toward independence and learns to navigate his own world, he never truly outgrows the comfort of the man who saved him. In the end, love doesn't need to speak the same language to be fully understood; it just needs someone willing to hold the bucket.

Meet baby Punch. Abandoned by his mother at birth, he was left with a broken heart before he even knew what the world was. But the universe refused to let his story end there

Instead, it gave him an unconventional, beautiful family: an orange plush "mom" and two incredibly devoted zookeeper daddies.

When Punch needs to feel safe and process the world, he curls up right on top of his Orang Plushie Mom. It doesn't replace the mother he lost, but it’s his soft , peaceful and safe place to land—a constant reminder that comfort can be found in the quietest corners.

And then there are his two daddies. Watch how he locks eyes with them, how he clings to their shoulders while they work, and how deeply they care for him. They didn’t give birth to him, but they chose him. They feed him, protect him, and are teaching him how to be a brave little macaque.
