Difference Between 35mm and 85mm: Ft. VILTROX Lenses

35mm: Offers a wider field of view, ideal for environmental shots, lifestyle photography, and capturing more of the surroundings. It’s great for storytelling, but may cause distortion in close-up portraits.

85mm: Tighter framing, perfect for portraits and product photos. It creates natural proportions and beautiful background blur (bokeh), isolating the subject with flattering compression.

Use a 35mm lens for wider, context-rich scenes, and an 85mm lens for close-up, detail-focused portraits and full-body shots with minimal distortion.
